The same 35× can mean different amounts
A wagering requirement states how much eligible betting must be credited before bonus winnings can be withdrawn under the offer’s terms. First find the basis to which the multiplier applies. The examples below assume that stakes count at 100%; they are calculations, not a suggestion to play.
€50 × 35 = €1,750 in credited stakes.
(€50 + €50) × 35 = €3,500 in credited stakes.
This is wagering volume, not the amount of a new deposit. Money left in the account can be staked more than once after a win. The requirement does not predict the amount that will remain afterward.
At a 20% contribution rate, the actual stakes required in the two examples are €1,750 ÷ 0.20 = €8,750 and €3,500 ÷ 0.20 = €17,500. The multiplier alone is therefore insufficient to compare offers.
How do you account for progress already made?
If the original requirement is €1,750 and the operator has credited €250, €1,500 remains. In a game with a 20% contribution rate, clearing that remainder would require €1,500 ÷ 0.20 = €7,500 in actual stakes. Do not apply the contribution rate to already credited progress a second time.
If your account shows the remaining requirement, start directly with that figure. If it only shows total stakes placed, check whether the operator has already applied the contribution rate.
In the bonus calculator, start with the known bonus amount and choose the correct basis. If your account shows the remaining requirement, select that form of progress.
Which terms should you find first?
- Basis: bonus, deposit plus bonus, deposit, or perhaps the actual winnings from free spins?
- Multiplier and contribution: 35× with 100% contribution is different from 35× with 20%. A game counting at 0% cannot reduce a positive requirement.
- Eligible games and stakes: some games or bet types may be excluded; check the maximum permitted stake too.
- Deadline and withdrawal limits: clearing the requirement may not make the entire balance immediately withdrawable.
- Meaning of progress: does the account show cleared requirement, remaining requirement, or simply stakes placed?
What does the calculation leave out?
It estimates the volume needed to clear the requirement. It does not predict a win or loss. Even a 0× rule does not automatically remove expiry or withdrawal restrictions. Check the official terms and the verification date shown by TÄRING for each offer.
